Dermatologists generally do not differentiate between acne on his back and the rest of the body. However, sebumne glands that are located on the back are generally higher than those in the rest of the body. They lead to increased production of cellular tissue which causes blockage of the pores, thus acne. Treatment of acne on the back requires a combination of medical preparations, proper nutrition and hygiene. Mild cases can usually be easily treated, but severe cases involving lesions and cysts usually require a special dermatological treatment.
