What causes pimples on your back?

The etiology of acne on the back is not fully known. However, it is considered that some factors that are crucial for the formation of acne on the face can also cause acne on the back:

Hereditary factor affects the size of the sebaceous follicles and their activity. Such increased production is one of the main causes of acne.

Hiperseboreja, or a skin condition associated with excessive production of sebum, is responsible for oily skin and can be one of the causes of acne. Specifically, severity of acne is directly proportional to the amount of sebum, while even in people with severe acne disorders are found in it.

Creating comedons plug prevents sebum secretion and so can cause acne. We distinguish between open comedones, which are manifest as blackheads and are not susceptible to inflammation and closed comedones, whose presence is necessary for the diagnosis of acne.

Hormonal changes are one of the most common causes of acne, especially in puberty. The reasons for this is the increased work of sebaceous glands and increased production of sebum which can cause acne.

The presence of bacteria is important factor in the occurrence of inflammation. For acne on the back usually find Propionbacterium acnes and Propionbacterium granolosmus. They promote oroĹžnjavanje follicles which can lead to clogging, build content, and then they stretch and tear that causes inflammation in the surrounding tissue.
